SARAH + BRYCE
BOTANICAL MEETS INDUSTRIAL: A MOUNTAIN WINTER WEDDING
November 8, 2024 | Miner’s Foundry | Nevada City, CA
When we met with Sarah & Bryce to talk Coordination Management, we instantly clicked. After sensing their energy, hearing their story, and seeing their pinterest board, we were hooked. They’d also already begun to build a stellar team; with Jessica Miriam Photography and Someone Said Yes DJ already on the books, we knew it was going to be an incredible (and incredibly fun) day!
Cut to 8 months later…. it’s the big day.
After getting ready and their first look at The National Exchange hotel, the couple and wedding party made their way just a few blocks over to the historic Miner’s Foundry to begin the celebration. Set in Sarah’s hometown of Nevada City, CA, this venue was the absolute perfect backdrop for their intimate celebration (she even had her high school prom there!) Built in 1856, the foundry lent its unique and industrial charm to the already cozy, winter vibe.
A highlight was the hand-bent ceremony arch created by Sarah’s sister~ a beautiful, custom piece that framed their vows perfectly. Floral artist, Sarasponda, added to the magic with dripping floral and fruit installations that brought the space to life. To add an unexpected twist, Sarah and Bryce’s rings were hidden under guests’ seats, adding an interactive element to their nuptials and especially delighting the guests who found them!
One of the most memorable moments of the day was the presence of Angus, Sarah and Bryce’s beloved dog, who kinda (let’s be honest) stole the show in his custom tux. During cocktail hour, roving oysters and caviar were passed, [filthy] dirty martinis flowed (with signature bleu cheese olives), and the grazing table was most certainly grazed.
The day was filled with thoughtful touches; from the audio guest book and mini golf station to ‘ice-breaker’ conversation inducing questions on the back of the table numbers. The couple even provided a guest POV camcorder, allowing friends and family to record their own candid moments throughout the day.
The fun continued with a late-night Chinese food bar to fuel the after party, and a recovery cart rolling through the dance floor, offering cookies, liquid iv and advil to name a few. Ending on a high note, Sarah and Bryce made their grand exit under a canopy of love and glowing Chinese lanterns, sending them off in a truly memorable moment. Little did the guests know that the couple snuck back into the opposite side of the venue for a private last dance, soaking in all the last bits of magic.
From start to finish, Sarah and Bryce’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their love for each other—a day filled with laughter, joy, and heartfelt connections. It was just as it should be- a purpose and love-filled, dynamic, extraordinary experience. A day that we’re honored, grateful and so lucky to have been a part of.
Thanks to all our friendors who helped create such a magical experience!
