AMOR Y SABOR: A BRIGHT & BOLD CALIFORNIA WEDDING

Set in the stunning mid-century home of their close friend and groomsmen, Camille and Davis' wedding was brilliant, bold and beautiful. Every element - from the welcome sign to the dessert napkins - was meticulously curated. We couldn’t have dreamed up a more thoughtful and intentional day if we tried.

Guests arrived to welcome drinks in the private garden lounge, while the couple and wedding party finished an editorial photo shoot to rival Vogue.

Next, the short but sweet ceremony was officiated by California's first queer Latina Senator, Susan Talamantes Eggman. The couple declared their love with an original song composed by Davis, hand written personal vows, and they even entered the ceremony together, hand in hand (no one was ‘giving away’ anyone).

Celebration of LGBTQ & BIPOC communities, women led businesses and all things local was a major priority for the couple, and not just because Camille identifies as bisexual. The couple took special care to share the things they cherish and value with their guests- like vegan conchas, a playlist to die for, and TONS of color.
Cocktail hour included custom newspapers & kiwi margaritas. The Puerto Rican dinner featured mango salad & empanadillas and custom letters to each guest table, set against vintage linens from Camille's grandmother and ombre florals from peach to fuschia.

A checkered dance floor and market lighting set the backdrop for the all-out rager dance party, while DJ Leo Marquez spun fire tracks ranging from Bjork to Bad Bunny to The Flamingos- fueling the dynamic energy that Camille and Davis sparked. Truly on point, Camille opted for a mid-reception outfit and hair change, rocking a bright pink slip dress, sheer pearl gloves, and an ultra long ribbon braid in a nod to her Mexican and Puerto Rican heritage.

The night continued with cafecito and ice cream, conchas, and an epic cake cutting. By midnight, the remaining guests, exhausted from the revelry, flopped on the lawn to stargaze. The crisp evening air cooled their faces, flushed from basking in all the love, and any guests who weren’t staying on property were sent home with a floral bud vase as a reminder of the incredible experience shared by all.
